I know a lot of you guys are looking to sell your own online courses and information products, so I thought I’d create a post with some technical help so you can do exactly that for pretty cheap.
There’s really three aspects to selling information products:
1) A sales page
2) A checkout page
3) A membership / download site
In the past you needed to use different software solutions for each of the pages above. I remember building my sales page with OptimizePress, then using SamCart as checkout and using WishList Member to build my protected membership website.
Luckily marketing software evolved over the years, and so there’s no more need for so many tools. Today there are tools that allow you to do all in one place.
The first software that allows you to create sales pages, checkout pages and membership sites all in one place is ClickFunnels.
As you probably know, it’s my personal favorite. You should definitely try it.
The second solution that allows you to do all of this in one place is New Kajabi. Kajabi isn’t as feature rich and flexible as ClickFunnels, but you can build simple checkout pages, sales pages and pretty beautiful looking membership areas using their solution.
I suggest you to check out both of them and see which one fits your needs better. They both cost $97 per month though. But I would think of it as an investment, rather than an expense, because it really facilitates your life when it comes to building a membership website with no coding.
So in that sense I think ClickFunnels has more features and thus deserves to be the winner of this little review. You just get more bang for your buck in terms of marketing, sales and automation.
