Everyone has some level of self doubt, but successful people take action despite having negative thoughts and a ton of self doubt.
Self doubt ≠ Self sabotage
Only if you let your own self doubt hold you back from taking action and pursing your dream, then self doubt turns into self sabotage. Negative emotions and feelings are a normal part of life.
Sometimes you can’t get rid of them right away.
Just like when you have a pebble in your shoe, it’s an uncomfortable feeling, but it doesn’t hold you back from walking, does it?
Your self doubt is the equivalent of having a pebble in your shoe. But you have to continue walking.
You have to continue working towards your dream.
The feeling of self-doubt arises from lack of confidence. And you lack confidence because it’s a new task and you don’t know if you can take it. But that’s normal. This is not YOUR personal problem. This is what everybody feels.
Everybody gets scared when faced with new obstacles arise. That’s what separates the losers from the winners. Losers complain. Winners act.
The only way to overcome this is through action despite self-doubt.
The only way to grow and to evolve is to face obstacles that you never faced before.
Don’t expect a smooth sail to success. You’ll have to do new things, because the ones you’re doing right now aren’t working.
Get to work. You’ll see the doubts disappear, because you’ll defeat them as you get better.
But if you react to it by not taking action then you are sabotaging yourself rather than just leaving the voice of self doubt be there. You need to take massive action and pursue your dream despite feeling weird.
You don’t need permission by your emotions to take action. Don’t let procrastination be your master.
