I recently got a question from a female subscriber who asked me if I think a woman can be successful at building an online business.
Honestly, I was a bit shocked by the question.
But then I realized how our society is still hammering into young women that they should be preoccupied with their looks, body and their “femininity” instead of being the one’s taking care of finances and business. In our society, men are still out to have that role.
Well, luckily the Internet has evened the playground for everyone. The Internet doesn’t give a crap if you’re a man or a woman.
No matter if you’re a man or a woman, we now all have the same tools, information, resources and opportunities at our fingertips. Google doesn’t discriminate men or women. Neither does Shopify, or the Facebook ad platform, nor the business models themselves.
Any inequality or roadblocks regarding to women becoming successful with online marketing, are mainly in your head. There’s no real barrier holding back women, it’s mainly social conditioning.
Any woman can become successful in the business world.
Okay, there are still patriarch structures in the business world. Especially when it comes to doing business offline, I agree.
However, when you build an online business you don’t have to attend business meetings or network with male influencers or anything the like. You can pretty much anonymously build an online business and nobody will ever know or care if it’s a man or a woman sitting behind the laptop or owning the company that’s generating the income.
As I said, the Internet promotes equality when it comes to building a business because neither gender or sex has any advantage.
The Internet doesn’t give a f#*k what you are.
So any women reading my posts or watching my videos. I want to encourage all of you to go against your social conditioning, say no to the false gender ideologies our society is promoting and go ahead and live the life you want to live. You have the same right to own a successful business as everyone else in this world. So go for it, use the Internet to your advantage, and disregard any mental chatter.
I have dozens of female entrepreneurs watching my YouTube videos. And some of them are very successful online business owners. We need more female entrepreneurs, so take a leap of faith and start.
